Compress Video With Virtual Dub. Have you ever had a problem in video compression where you want the video quality is the same but after that the quality is being changed drastically? I've been experimenting with video, Such as video size - say - the size of 80 MB and you want to make it 20 MB or more but you do not want to lose the quality of the video then here I am to tell the solution.
You need to install K-Lite Mega Codec Pack on your PC and then install Virtual Dub too.
Steps:
Make sure the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack has been installed, and open the video that you want to compress with Virtual Dub.

- Clik Compression from menu
- Select Xvid MPEG-4 Codec from the list menu.
- Now VirtualDub select 'save as' from the File menu. Simply save the video alone
Virtual Dub will compress the size of the video but the video quality will remain the same. Virtual Dub also supports batch file processing so you can compress a lot of files at once. You can also try a different compression codec.
